About HERAM

HERAM is the social platform for showing up — to events, to hobbies, to new people. We exist because the internet is full of ways to scroll past humans, and almost no good ways to meet them.

What we believe

• Real life beats endless scroll. The best friendships, partners, and ideas come from showing up to things.
• Hosts are the engine. A great app is only as alive as the people running great events on it.
• Local first. The best meetup is one you can walk to. We optimise for nearby, not algorithmic.
• Friendship before romance. Dating is part of life, but it's not the headline. HERAM is friendship and events first, dating second.
• Safety isn't a feature, it's a baseline. Real-world meetups need real-world safety thinking — from the product, not just the user.

How we make money

HERAM is free for attendees and free for hosts running free events. When hosts charge for tickets, we add a small platform fee on top of standard payment-processor fees. That's it — no ads, no selling data, no premium tier for swipes.

The team

HERAM is built by Sandeep Parihar, an indie founder based in the UK who got tired of every "meet people" app being either a swipe casino or a dead Facebook group. We started in West London. We're growing one city at a time.
